IGdown is built so that we need almost nothing from you. There is no sign-up, no profile and no Instagram login, so we never see your password or your account.
What we collect. When you paste a link, our server fetches that public post so your browser can save it. The media is not stored permanently and is not added to any library or gallery. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, time of request — used for security and troubleshooting, then rotated out.
Cookies and analytics. We use analytics to see which pages and features get used. This is aggregate traffic data, not a record of what any individual downloaded.
Advertising. Ads keep the site free. Third-party ad networks, including Google and its partners, may use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or at aboutads.info/choices.
Third-party sites. Links leaving IGdown, including Instagram itself, run under their own privacy policies. We have no control over them.
Children. IGdown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes. Updates are posted here with a new date.
